William C. Allen
Managing Director -- Investment Officer
With over 30 years of experience in the securities industry, Bill Allen has achieved a high level of success at the firm -- the position of Managing Director-Investment Officer -- and established Allen Wealth Management of Wachovia Securities with his son, Jonathan. He focuses on helping individuals, charitable organizations, and corporate institutions obtain their financial objectives.
After serving in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant in Vietnam, Mr. Allen joined C. C. Collings, a regional firm in Philadelphia specializing in underwriting tax-advantaged municipal-bond issues. During his 22-year tenure, he served as the firm's Executive Vice President, participated in its merger with Legg Mason Wood Walker Inc., and continued serving as Executive President with the new firm, Collings Legg Mason. In 1990 Mr. Allen moved his financial practice to the Doylestown office of Wheat First Butcher Singer, a predecessor firm of Wachovia Securities. He holds his Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) registration, as well as his general securities registrations. Mr. Allen earned his degree in business administration and finance from Rider University, and he lives in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania.

Jonathan Allen
Associate Vice President -- Investments
Financial Advisor
Jonathan Allen is a professional Financial Advisor dedicated to helping his clients meet their financial goals. He will take the time to understand your unique investment objectives and risk tolerance, and help you design an appropriate portfolio to balance safety, growth, and income. In addition, he believes in clear and frequent communication in order to keep your portfolio on target toward your investment objectives.
While studying for his bachelor's degree in business administration from Rider University, Jonathan worked as a marketing associate with ALK Associates in Princeton. Following his graduation, he completed an internship in Wachovia's Doylestown office with his father, William Allen, who is a Managing Director-Investment Officer and has more than 30 years of experience. Jonathan holds his Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) registration, as well as his Series 7 & Series 63 registrations. He also has his insurance license in PA, NJ, and DE. Jonathan is active in his community, working with the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce and volunteering as a Friendly Visitor for the Doylestown Hospital.

Loretta A. Benotto
Registered Account Administrator
With a solid foundation of over twenty years in the securities business -- including ten years on Wall Street -- Loretta Benotto is an integral member of Allen Wealth Management of Wachovia Securities. She is responsible for streamlining the group's operations and managing client relations.
Mrs. Benotto began her career as office manager for Ferris Business Group, a venture capital company. She also worked as the Executive Secretary of Investment Banking for Dillon Read & Co. for two years before joining Goldman Sachs & Co. as the Executive Assistant for Municipal Finance, an institutional client-relations position she held for seven years. She joined a predecesor firm of Wachovia Securities in 1993. She holds an associate degree in business administration, as well as her general securities registrations. Mrs. Benotto was awarded the Firm's "Recognition of Excellence" Award in November 2001.
Fluent in Italian, Mrs. Benotto is a member of the Circolo Italiano, an organization dedicated to promoting the Italian language and culture. She and her husband, Franco, travel each year to Italy, where they assist their family's wine-making business.
Her areas of specialization include:

- Serving as the Syndicate Coordinator
- Handling block trading for the team's institutional clients
- Providing cost-basis information during tax season
- Managing research requests, portfolio valuations, check requests, and IRA distributions
Carrie Wagner
Senior Account Administrator
With six years of experience in the securities business, Carrie Wagner believes in providing all clients with the personalized attention and solution-oriented service they deserve.
Before joining Allen Wealth Management of Wachovia Securities in 1993, Mrs. Wagner worked for eighteen years at the Mercy Catholic Medical Center, where she advanced from an accounts payable clerk to supervisor. In this role, she handled the payment and processing of invoices for 200 companies and managed client inquiries, as well as supervising four clerks. She received the "Recognition of Excellence" Award in November 1999 for providing superior client service.
Her areas of specialization include:
- Managing client account information requests
- Processing new accounts, including ACAT transfers
- Serving as the office's Mutual Fund Coordinator and liaison with investment-company sales representatives
- Handling client communications and correspondence
